Gearbox

True third-generation gearbox

The third-generation gearbox was redesigned as a new solution. Compared with the third-generation gearbox used in 42172, the MOC 03 gearbox is reduced by more than 50% in volume while greatly improving transmission efficiency and shifting reliability.

Transmission

8-speed dual-clutch + hybrid + DNR + energy recovery

The model recreates an eight-speed dual-clutch sequential gearbox concept, with simulated motor behavior, simulated electronic reverse and simulated kinetic-energy recovery.

Dual-channel shifting

In addition to active shift paddles, MOC 03 includes an extra shift control, giving creators more mechanical interaction points to demonstrate.

Dynamic navigator-style instrument panel
