Inspired by McLaren W1, Brick Leon / Laoliang MOC 03 is built around a compact third-generation gearbox, dual-clutch shifting logic, linked aero functions and a dramatic open-door display.
Inspired by McLaren W1
Brick Leon / Laoliang MOC 03 uses a new third-generation gearbox layout with about 50% less volume than the 42172-style third-generation gearbox, while improving transmission efficiency and shifting reliability.

Includes paddle and rotary shifting, hybrid/DNR simulation and a dynamic visible gear indicator.
Driving motion links to the V8 engine, while steering can connect with suspension roll behavior.
Spring-assisted gullwing doors, opening covers and raised aero details create a high-impact creator visual.

MOC 03 / Product introduction
The official introduction centers on the real third-generation gearbox, dual-clutch shifting, DNR simulation, kinetic-energy recovery simulation and linked suspension/aero behavior.
The third-generation gearbox was redesigned as a new solution. Compared with the third-generation gearbox used in 42172, the MOC 03 gearbox is reduced by more than 50% in volume while greatly improving transmission efficiency and shifting reliability.
The model recreates an eight-speed dual-clutch sequential gearbox concept, with simulated motor behavior, simulated electronic reverse and simulated kinetic-energy recovery.
In addition to active shift paddles, MOC 03 includes an extra shift control, giving creators more mechanical interaction points to demonstrate.
The dashboard works as a visible gear-position indicator, allowing the current gear state to be seen at any time.
The driving motion links to the V8 engine, giving the model a clear mechanical relationship between wheel movement and engine behavior.
The steering system links to the cockpit steering wheel, while steering can also drive visible suspension side-tilt movement and roll-steering behavior.
The front suspension uses a pushrod layout with rocker arms, paired with a third horizontal shock absorber structure inspired by the real car.
The rear suspension uses a double-wishbone concept inspired by the real car, adding strong technical interest for close-up review shots.
Front and rear suspension height can be adjusted independently, supporting a richer mechanical demonstration and more expressive display stance.
The front suspension lift links with the front underbody splitter, while the rear suspension lift links with the rear diffuser for an integrated chassis/aero effect.
The model includes spring-assisted gullwing doors, opening front and rear covers and a fully removable engine cover for strong display and filming moments.
MOC 03 is designed with easy-to-assemble large modules and a solid full-vehicle structure, making the build clearer, more reliable and easier to present.
